Your responsibilities:

As a Senior System Architect at USP3D, you will integrate interdisciplinary concepts to tackle complex challenges in Electric Motors. You will be responsible for:

• Defining system-level requirements and technical specifications for customer-specific projects.

• Monitoring technology trends and aligning innovations with market needs.

• Acting as the primary technical liaison with customers from initial discussions to project delivery.

• Taking on a technical project management role, coordinating expert teams to exceed customer expectations.

• Contributing to USP3D’s strategy by identifying opportunities for new developments and partnerships.

Who we are looking for?

• Master’s or PhD in Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in system architecture, preferably in electromobility or power electronics.

• Strong background in electrical machine design, thermal management, or mechanical engineering.

• Hands-on experience with simulation tools and system modeling.

• Self-motivated, analytical, and proactive in problem-solving.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Our Team is looking for a hands-on, passionate material engineer who is fascinated by microstructure! 

Your responsibilities: 

As a Material Engineer, your focus is on the feedstock powder and the daily operations on the supply side. You’ll work closely with the Electromechanical Engineers, the R&D team, and external suppliers. 

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the feedstock powder ensuring safety and quality standards are met.  

• Testing the powder quality and checking its microstructure.

• Become an expert in one or two sub-processes e.g. Printing parameters, Surface finishing, Heat treatment… 

• Identifying potential suppliers.

• Troubleshoot post-processing issues. 

• Follow up material quality, storage, and reproducibility. 

• Closed-loop communication with electromechanical engineers and the R&D team to improve the printing process. 

• Support and participate in continuous improvement activities. 

Who we are looking for?

• Material engineering is preferred. 

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience.

• Have a PhD or about to finish it.

• Experience with 3D printing of metal is a plus.  

• Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable to change. 

• Team player. 

• Able to prioritize workload, troubleshoot, and think about solutions. 

• Systematic and data-driven approach to assembly problem-solving and continuous improvement. 

• Any knowledge or experience with postprocessing is a plus.

• Expanding USP3D’s market presence by identifying and engaging potential customers and partners.

• Developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.

• Managing customer relationships, from initial contact to contract negotiation and long-term collaboration.

• Translating customer needs into technical project opportunities in coordination with the engineering team.

• Keeping up with market trends and emerging technologies in electrification and additive manufacturing.

• Representing USP3D at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Who we are looking for?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in advanced manufacturing or e-mobility.

• Strong technical understanding of electrical machines, 3D printing, or thermal management is a plus.

• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
